Barnaby Bright

Not easily defined, Barnaby Bright is an alt-Americana trio with very contemporary influences that reflect their geographical journey from Brooklyn to Nashville to Kansas, while calling on Nathan Bliss’ Oklahoma roots and distant relation to Merle Haggard. The band takes audiences on a ride through love songs, murder ballads and deeply moving, relatable themes. Nathan’s virtuosic acoustic guitar & banjo playing and Becky Bliss’ effortless soaring vocals over the drone of the harmonium are joined by Carmen Dieker’s haunting fiddle and violin-playing in a three-part harmony, pushing the boundaries of today’s indie folk landscape.
