About the Event
Originally from Rockport, Maine, Alice Limoges is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began releasing records when she was 16 years old and has since released 3. Her music’s been described by the Bangor Daily News as “something akin to a softer-edged Fiona Apple, or a harder-edged Sarah McLachlan — awfully, awfully pretty, but with a flair for the dramatic that creeps in on nearly every track”.’
She has performed extensively across NYC and the Northeast, including festivals (Keene Music Festival, Keene, NH; The Campfire Festival, Cambridge, MA; Belfast Free Range Festival, Belfast, ME), colleges (Columbia University, Hamilton College, Bard College, Western New England University, Landmark College, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Purchase), and other legendary venues such as The Cutting Room (NYC), Rockwood Music Hall (NYC), PIANOS (NYC), The Bowery Electric (NYC), Club Passim (Boston), and Cafe Nine (New Haven). Currently, she is working on recording new music with Jon Jetter of Right Angle Recordings to be released in late 2018.
Blue Café is a new, intimate performance space located on the 3rd floor of the Camden Opera House, showcasing acts you won't see anywhere else. Doors open at 7. Admission is always free (donations welcome), with bar provided by 40 Paper Bistro and Bar! Bring a friend!
Relax. Connect. Listen. Enjoy.
