About the Event
Camden Opera House’s Community Thank You Film series screens “The Beatles Deconstructed” (2016, USA), free and open to all. In October 1965, The Beatles were asked to produce a new album of original music for Christmas release; one month later, they emerged with “Rubber Soul." It hit No. 1 on the charts, along with the singles “We Can Work It Out” and “Day Tripper.” Writer/presenter Scott Freiman explores the creation of these songs, as well as “Norwegian Wood,” “In My Life,” “Nowhere Man” and other classics. Sponsored by the Community Arts Fund. Free/donations, no RSVP needed!
