Resurgence Dance Company presents "Dionysus"

Resurgence Dance Company is back with their next full length production: Dionysus. This will be a fusion of dance, theater, and oration, and is based on the Greek tragedy, “The Bacchae” by Euripides. The outline and script have been adapted by Howard Waxman, a playwright from NYC.

About the Event
Resurgence Dance Company is back with their next full length production: Dionysus.
This will be a fusion of dance, theater, and oration, and is based on the Greek tragedy, “The Bacchae” by Euripides. The outline and script have been adapted by Howard Waxman, a playwright from NYC who has teamed up with RDC after years of discussing this production with Artistic Director, Ashley Steeves. The two are combining forces to create a spectacular piece of drama that will be shown onstage in Topsham and Camden Maine in January 2027.
This show is “PG-13” and will include sexuality and murder.
*In the event of bad weather, there is a Snow date reserved for Sunday, Jan. 24th.
