The Resonauts are an acoustic quartet from Nashville, TN consisting of Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, and Bass. They play a mix of jazz, bluegrass and pop and always with an emphasis on joy and excitement. Their original works consist of progressive americana instrumentals and songwriting." High Noon" could be naturally found in a spaghetti western film. "Eudaimonia" is a reflective and joyful piece reminiscent of Penguin Cafe Orchestra. Orb Weaver could be a spiritual successor to The White Album or an out take from The Velvet Underground.
While no single identifying characteristic describes their sound best, their authentic and dynamic presence on stage is a joy to behold for lovers of any genre. If you love acoustic music, you’ll find something to love about The Resonauts.
