This talk features a conversation between William L. Coleman, PhD, Wyeth Foundation Curator and Director, Andrew & Betsy Wyeth Study Center; Francesca Soriano, PhD, Curator of American Art at the Farnsworth Art Museum; and Kendall DeBoer, Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Colby College Museum of Art, on the exhibition By Design: The Worlds of Betsy James Wyeth.

Reflecting on their collaborative curatorial work, the speakers will discuss how Betsy Wyeth’s environments were researched, interpreted, and shaped into a multi-sited exhibition. The talk will offer insight into her creative legacy and the process of bringing these worlds into public view.
